I died when Sid died! It was so sad... I watched this show for my entire growing up... loved it! It was the best, it was real, and human, and also funny and silly, but they were real... Abby was also just the best!

I have to agree with Michele Lee "Sid's death" was a complete shock. I still remember the episode and wondered how the show would survive. The writers were great to have us grieve for a season, but the show actually evolved into a great series...

At the time, Knots wasn't fully serialized so when Don Murray left the show was still focused on the four original couples and breaking up not only one of the four but the solid couple was a transition for the show, but I think in the end it paid off because by season 5 none of the original 4 couples were still together onscreen

I watched S1 on DVD, then I watched a lot of Knots on KZbin, then I found a place to watch it! I watched Season 4 now at 6 as well. It was a great show

vidhead85 definitely a show that should be released in its entirety. It’s my understanding that sells of seasons 1 & 2 weren’t strong enough to warrant future releases. I cant even find it on tv anymore. Last time I saw it on tv was on Soapnet 15 years ago.

When the show first started, Valene was the least attractive woman on the show. But overtime they changed her look and she became a beautiful woman. I don't know why they waited so long to make her more "grown-up" from that pitiful Texan accent and ugly "little girl" clothes. By the time she left the show, she was gorgeous. I must say, though, Abby was by far the sexiest woman on the show; then Karen, then Paige, then Val, and then Anne. Never liked Jill or Diana, nor Laura or Ginger.
