In my understanding, no additional documents are required to be uploaded at the time of filing such apart from the additional details asked. But yes of course, after filing, since detailed investigation is allowed by the act, the authorities might ask for any additional documents they might require to satisfy themselves

Earlier the registration u/s 12A or 12AA used to be perpetual in nature. But after the amendment in 2020, the registration should have been renewed by March 2022. If you have not renewed, in my opinion the registration has now lapsed and you need to apply afresh for registration in Form 10A
