7:40 just makes me think about Master Chief rolling up to the House of Reckoning and single-handedly steamrolling Escharum and his Banished crew, especially with the tribute to “Finish the Fight” at 8:05

I keep coming back to this because of how much of a shame it is that the riff/rhythm from 6:02 - 6:21 isn't what this track was based on. Don't get me wrong, I love the original trilogy Elite/Covenant motif as much as anyone, but that riff is too groovy for it to be such a small footnote in the track. Ah well, I'm happy we got as much of it as we did.
