Know Since When Is Holashtak | जानिए कब से है होलाष्टक | NEWJ

Just as auspicious times have been told in religion and astrology for doing auspicious work, similarly some inauspicious times have also been told. It is forbidden to do auspicious work in these times, otherwise those works give bad results. One of such periods considered taboo for auspicious works is Holashtak. No auspicious work is done during these 8 days. However, this time is very auspicious for worshiping the deities.
जिस तरह धर्म और ज्‍योतिष में शुभ और मांगलिक काम करने के लिए शुभ मुहूर्त बताए गए हैं, वैसे ही कुछ अशुभ समय भी बताए गए हैं. इन समय में शुभ काम करने की मनाही की गई है, वरना वे काम बुरे नतीजे देते हैं. शुभ कामों के लिए वर्जित माने गई ऐसी अवधियों में से एक हैं होलाष्‍टक. इन 8 दिनों में कोई भी शुभ कार्य नहीं किए जाते हैं. हांलाकि देवी-देवताओं की आराधना क लिए यह समय बहुत शुभ होता है.
