That is a beautiful vehicle and the only car that VW makes that is still available with a manual transmission. While I also prefer the .manual 6 Speed, the 7 Speed Dsg is quicker and more efficient. But, I also would choose the 6 speed just for the Fun Factor. BTW, all the GLi models for 2025 are Autobahn Editions.

You didn’t know that all 2025 GLI’s are Autobahn editions, because you don’t follow the VW brand or particularly this model. I’m sorry to say that you look sorta weird reviewing this vehicle. A man of your age that is. Seems like you should be doing auto reviews of vehicles that are marketed for your age group. Say for instance a Mercedes S class or the BMW 7 series. The last thing we need is a bunch of senior citizens driving GLI’s going 35mph on a 55 mph road. In the left lane at that.

Pardon me, and yes, I read your comment. It may not be any of my business, but your comment or so-called put down is foul and wrong. Yes, since this version of this Jetta was introduced there have been several trims and variations of the VW Jetta and the Jetta GLI which is the MK 7.5. They did have numerous variations of the Jetta GLI. Do you remember the S the 35th and the 40th anniversary versions of the Jetta GLI? Well if you didn't know then look back at the youtube videos to get you updated. They been doing different variations of this MK 7.5 since 2019. Yes, there been an Autobahn trim as well and some years it was the only trim of the Jetta GLI. Also, stop being a butt on someone's age. They have young boys doing videos that are so-called auto-journalist as well. Do I feel like they too young for ex. ans. yes, but I don't bitch about it.
