Nice driving. I track my FRS every now and again too, always informative to see other people's driving. Would kill to hear what the instructor is saying, he seems super engaged and helpful.

Thanks man! I am an experienced beginner at best but I am glad if observing my driving is helpful to you in anyway. I can quickly summarize the few key points my instructor told me lol. Basically for all of the lower speed corners, he told me to wait a little longer to turn in, and once the timing is correct, turn in with one QUICK motion, stop thinking TOO MUCH about being "smooth". He also told me to take a tighter line for some of the high speed sweepers(as you can see sometime in the video) since my car is underpowered anyway so no need to swing out wide and you travel shorter distance by taking a tighter line which helps to catch up to the high powered muscle cars as well. Finally it's just to explore the limit of the car more in all corners and get on the power as early as possible when coming on to the straights.

I am still a noob and have a lot to learn, and my instructor for the weekend has been a HUGE help, he saw that I have good car control but am also the more cautious type and is getting too caught up on how the novice classroom emphasizes being "smooth" that I forgot my steering needs to be swifter in the low-speed corners, and that the car's limit in the corners is way higher than I expected. He repeatedly mentioned the phrase "Know where your car shines" to me and once he got me to push my car more in the corners by just the right amount it made a huge difference, I improved my personal best by 7 seconds from 2:51 to 2:44 and started catching up to Camaros and Corvettes with 3 times or more the power of my car (albeit with drivers that are not too familiar with NCM). Also, just in case if anybody is wondering, the reason that I seem to be on and off with my heel and toe is mainly that I am 6'4, and the stock seat honestly does not provide very good support to combat the G force because the lumbar support is too narrow for me and is digging into my back. So whenever I feel like I am struggling to steady my body I would give up on heel and toe for that corner to keep my balance.

Great job. Improvements can be noticed each time you go around. Any mods done to the car?

Thanks man appreciate it! Yes the car has some light mods "all around". I have the HKS EL header and a tune, new kyb shocks and lowering springs, Ferodo DS2500 Pads, and Michelle Pilot Sport All season 3+ tires, 215 font and 225 rear.
