Isaac Tudu - you have put significant efforts to prepare this video and is really appreciated. However, I suggest if you could edit the video and cover - when one needs to be re-certified (i.e. the qualification is valid for how many years- and how can one get re-certified. Apart from this, question No.2 needs to be rephrased for better understanding (Through oversight you overlooked this) The question should read "If a seller in country X wishes to receive money/export proceeds from buyer in country Y, how should the documentary credit be made best available ?" - Great contribution - Sir keep up the good work.

To retain it, one needs to take part in the recertification programme or retake the exam at the end of the three-year period. Details of recertification can be found from CDCS exam official site: www.libf.ac.uk/study/professional-qualifications/trade-finance/certificate-for-documentary-credit-specialists-(cdcs) Question No.2 should be read as “If a seller in country X wishes to receive payment from a buyer in country Y as soon as possible, how should the documentary credit best be made available?” Regards - Isaac

CDCS will improve your knowledge and understanding of LC and is globally recognised certification in trade finance. Therefore, most of the private & multinational banks and trade finance companies prefer and look for CDCS holder in their trade team. You may apply to various openings.
