I graduated in 2021 and took the NCLEX a couple of months after graduation. The 2 most useful tools I used to help me pass the NCLEX (75 questions) were: 1. UWORLD and 2. Mark Klimek KZbin review sessions. His reviews were amazing "reviews" for sure, but even more helpful was his test taking strategies. I ALWAYS recommend Klimek reviews for anyone getting ready to take NCLEX. Currently I am preparing to apply for a new nursing position and wanted to get some review in. I just saw this channel has become available in the past few months. I am so excited to dig into ALL of your videos. Thank you very much. You are providing an incredible service.

They do seem easy. I didn’t miss one of these but failed nclex. The nclex questions with the select all that apply are so hard.

Are halodol and haloperidol the same med or do we just treat them the same because they are the same drug class?

I thought we don't need to memorize the normal ranges of lab values for the NGN right?
@EdwardsNH Жыл бұрын
So, correct, but... I'd still know what it means when the levels are off. And it helps to know they, too. From what I understand, they will have the values with the question
@chrissy6049 Жыл бұрын
From what I was told ONLY the NGN style questions (case studies, etc.) will have the lab values included. The NGN NCLEX will still include a lot of classic NCLEX questions and those do not include the lab values. I would still know your common labs

So I have a question about how Mark tells us to remember the effects of hyper and hypokalemia. In his 10-hour review lecture (which is awesome thank you!) there are two places where he talks about this. One is regarding pH and the other is just memorizing the effects of being hyper or hypokalemic. In the former he says, "As the pH goes, so goes my patient, except Potassium". In the latter he says, for potassium, the effects are the same direction of the prefix bar heart rate and urine output. So.... when you put these side by side, they don't match up. How do you suggest I should interpret this? I look forward to hearing from you, thank you so much!

These seem way too easy. Will the NCLEX have easy questions like this?
@klimekreviews Жыл бұрын
They are not easy if you don’t know the med. But yes, there will be some questions like these.
