Please keep Bill and his family and Mary Catherine in your prayers. Bill is doing better. Mary Catherine is doing better Yesterday they were on FaceTime and even though he still can't speak he is understanding some of what is going on. Mary was talking on FaceTime and he would respond with a thumbs up 👍. He couldn't do that a couple of days ago. His right arm and leg is moving well but his left side of his body is not doing as well. There is movement in his toes on the left side. His family are there every day and very supportive. Bill has a long journey ahead of him. Please be in prayer for Bill, his family and Mary Catherine. God bless all of you for your prayers. My Proverbs beloved aunt died 23 years ago today. She was a wonderful and truly godly woman. She just basically dropped dead at age 65. I used to question why the Lord would allow such a important person (to so many) to drop dead and out of our/a needy world. There's an Old Testament verse which speaks to us/me regarding that very question. It basically says (paraphrasing) that God takes some out of the world to spare them the pain and sorrow of it. She would be going on 89 now, and would be highly saddened and disturbed by the world as it is today. The sin saturation and leavening would have really weighed heavy on her heart. Not to mention, the wayward and rebellious family members. Sometimes, the Lord allows the sting of death to bring His beloved ones Home and peace... I have no doubt she is busily helping to prepare for all of our arrivals! She was always doing wonderful things! I still fear death, as it is often painful, and the unknown of the process bugs me. I also hate the idea of my body decaying, et cetera. But we all have to go that route, unless the Lord raptures us. It is my hope the "Rapture" of the church is part of His plan. (No need to argue that point--those tempted. I've heard the reasons for and against many times!) I just would welcome it much more than the death process. Until I taste it, I will occupy! The most important is to get as many Bibles to as many people as possible! The Word is life!
