It's like a meat blender on legs, YAY! These guys get slept on past the early game, but the trick to using them in the late game is....just not to use them like you did in the early game.

Berserker has turned the tide for me many times.....and has friendly fire killed a alarming number of my units before I got the hang of it😂😂😂

I see Know Your Unit, and I Know I've Gotta Click. Glad to see another installment good sir! They also pair good with the occasional Boon Valk w/ Cutlass+1. Spreads false strike to keep your zerker alive, makes him faster, and spams finishers whenever she can. It's a jolly good time.

got a lucky winged boots drop in my first playthrough early on in the story, slapped it on my zerker and had them fly around with canopus either picking off mages of sniping bosses, the amount of damage modifiers they can rack up is insane

I love when the enemy uses risk management, it lets me alpha a squishy unit and kill off all the tanky units around it. Not sure why but the enemy berserkers always take a ton of damage from everything.

Yeah, Berserkers are primo supporter units. They pair well with tanky/debuff frontliners like shield knights, terror knights, and white knights since all they need is someone beefy to trigger pincers. Falsestrike and Dodge really shine here by maximizing the number of basic attacks in every direction with berserkers doing the most in each exchange. You essentially move the front line in batches of 2 tiles to trigger pincers and get back in formation. The next level above that is winged units to ignore rampart and let pincers do their job, but the trick is building tanky winged or loading up your griffons with salves. Later on, you can slap winged/teleport on anyone and just go crazy with pincers to chunk through twice as much hp. Berserk is also the most effective for clearing out obstacles and opening up narrow hallways. A single aoe won't kill, but you also have mage aoe and pincers to finish them off. The funny thing is that berserkers fill the roll of backstabbers better than rogues and ninjas, since they have enough beef, punch, and turn economy to make it worth doing. Ranged Fist Finishers and weapon spells even let them use their active turns better than ninjas, since Fist gets higher flat damage than 1H katanas and ninjas fail to have a meaningful INT advantage over berserkers. Also counter lets them generate more MP. The only flaw they kind of have is not working well with Mighty Strike. They WANT counters, so crits mess up their tempo and makes positioning awkward. Don't sleep on berserker pumpkins, by the way. Empower Golem Berserk Vigorous Sanguine is exactly 4 state buffs. Sadly, I think Rucession mentioned something weird about Sanguine and they aren't useful for gaining extra armor penetration.

Pumpkin berserkers are really good, yet I always feel they get outshone by the nonsense that is Songstress Pumpkins. Those wide element options with regeneration are just too fun, but yeah, kill gourds are a fantastic time.

hi! can you try my LORD-ZERKER build? Double Attack Sanguine Assault Berserk 4th skill you decide, Phalanx or Lament of the Dead (apostate or evade also good) (I don't run finishers on lord,, my MP is for Sanguine Assault or spells anyways.., and then i basically double attack enemies to a pulp with Denam. If berserk procs and then you cast sanguine... it is absolutely nutty seeing it on double attack) my recommended spells are instill "element" (for that added number) resurrection boon of swiftness (if I don't want to use berserk buff yet, i cast this on someone instead) exorcism?

Personally I'd always run Conserve MP/Res 2, but if you're running Double, get that man some Speedstar. I like Berserk Lord with a Spear, gives you a counter while still keeping the arc, getting a mass breach swing, and it just looks funny to stab so hard there's a backdraft. So...Berserk/Sanguine/Spears/Steelstance (Res 2/Renewal/Starfall/Spellcharge) is a fun little wrecking ball with options.

If you're using lord berserk, you may as well swap sanguine for terror or mighty strike. Lament is not worth it on a lord, but inflicting frighten and ANOTHER attack on the same unit is big.
