As a parent I want to tell other parents you can only live one life and that is yours. You can only raise a child once and when they become adults their life belong to them and the good Lord. You cannot choose who your children love. It’s being narcissistic. You chose your soul love and they are entitled to choose theirs. Love is color, religious, and traditions blind. *I taught my children to love from the inside out not the outside in.* I love my blended family, the good , bad, and the challenges that life brings. Life is short and then you die. Don’t use false control over adult children. If you do you would drive them away and miss the best part of the rest of your life with family. *God help us all to love beyond the outward flesh, Amen.*

While I dont disagree with you , in Asian society marrying someone who fits into the family is of paramount importance. I know some who didnt , they became isolated from family and in the long run were resentful that their spouse always stuck out like a sore thumb. In asia, some cultures tend to be very conservative and have high expectations. Korea is like this. It's not that they don't see value as a human as a foreigner, it's just they are used to and expect their children to marry Koreans. It's very hard to impress asian in-laws as a foreigner. Also multicultural relationships tend to be very challenging and asian parents know about this. Anyone can fall in love, but cultural barriers are more difficult to overcome than a lot realize. I am not sure the father-in-law was acceptable of his daughter inlaw until he saw his grandchild. Most grandparents are like that. No daughter inlaw or son inlaw is good enough for their son or daughter until a child is born. She's very attractive & talented. It's good all turned out well.

It really differs in every country. Filipinos are very open to foreign relationships because were not pure Filipinos were mix so the more mix blood you are the better. Cultures, languages and most of all Filipinos are pretty and even more prettier if they came out from mix parents. 😅 Some believe that its more advantage if your mix from physical appearance to passport to languages and cultures.

No pure blood Filipino. Soon in future all people or citizens in Philippine are not Filipino anymore. So many mixed Filipinos, we believe that mixed are pretty. We don’t like looking ugly because pure Filipino are not pretty like mixed.
@gladys80602 жыл бұрын
@@aabcdefgh were not pure blood filipino in the first place. Pure Filipinos are natives such igurot, negritos etc. Were already mix spanish malays Chinese etc.

What's kinda annoying is how people from less economically developed societies try to disguise "marrying up" the socio-economic ladder as being " woke."
