Over the past year or so I have been paying a lot more attention to my water chemistry, and as far as I have able to apply what I've learned, it has made a tremendous difference in my brews. I've watched several videos on this topic, and this is by far the best of the bunch. I think I'll watch it again - with a copy of our municipal water report in hand. Thanks so much!

i bought a £60 RO system that hooks onto my kitchen tap. Takes about 4hours to produce 35litres of water. I then add back what i need. My beers have improved significantly.

Yeah a great way to take full control is to use an RO system

Great series. Really informative stuff. Will definitely have to get my tap water tested as I haven't a clue what's in it!

Thanks , you will notice a remarkable difference in the quality of the beer if you start getting to know the water and what to add for each style

excellent stuff. a real education. Irish water website doesnt really give me anything to work with in terms of decent figures. Especially in Cork. If anyone knows a decent base profile to work with for North Cork water pleasa let me know. I have base water at CA2: 21, Mg2: 5, NA:11, CL:17, S04:22, and HCO:50 but could be way off.

Great informative videos. I'm small batch biab brewing. Would this be good for me to use? Also on the form it say gyle number, is that the quantity I brew?
@Geterbrewed2 жыл бұрын
Yes this would be helpful to improve your biab brews, Gyle is an old term sometimes used (particularly in the UK) to describe a batch of wort or beer as it proceeds through the brewing process.
