Nicely explained. But while connecting to aws sftp server i am getting error "permission denied. Error code: 3 Error message from server (US-ASCII): Unable to assume role" from WinSCP client. Do you have any idea on this?

I'm setting up something similar to what you are doing here. However, I don't want my clients to use SSH keys. Do you have a tutorial to set up a username/password for the AWS Transfer services?

Is it possible to restrict the subfolder creation/deletion inside the folders? Sftp user need full permission to access the object in the folder.
