The requirement for the management account to be able to write to the bucket on a 'not organization' path caught me out as well; AWS documentation could really be clearer on this.

Thanks for the Video, however I disagree with the method you setup a replication between different buckets to transfer the bucket ownership. you can simply configure the original Bucket's "object Ownership" section and set it to "Bucket owner preferred" . this way all logs generated in this bucket will have the bucket owner's permission and not the Cloudtrail ownership. Thanks.

Logging account user can still have access to bucket policies and can change its permissions which makes the concept fail.
