Can't install Kali Linux showing "Your installation Media couldn't be mounted when installing from CD.ROM, this probably means that the disk was not in the drive. If so you can insert it and try again."

The method I show wipes everything on the HDD and leaves Kali only. So if you are sure you want to wipe everything and leave only Kali, install it like I show it without removing anything first

This is so strange. The kali download is 4gb. My flash drive is 32gb. For some reason the download is apparently too big for the flash drive. This is making my brain ache.

Your USB is probably formatted in Fat32 that has a 4GB file size limit. You can reformat it in eXfat or NTFS. Careful, when you format it, you will loose any data on it
