I like to reboot the router once a week early in the morning because I noticed when the router has not been restarted for 3 months or so, the wireless network gets slow. You can schedule a reboot under Administration - System - Enable Reboot Scheduler

Hi Eloy, Thanks a lot for this video. I have a question about the Alert preference in the AiProtection menu. What is Password used for. Is it for using ones own email login/access, to send an alert-email? Or does it send the alert preference in a locked zip?

I replaced my Xfinity modem with a Motorola XB8611 modem and Asus XT9 ZenWifi mesh routers. Unfortunately, I cannot see devices behind my modem now and I cannot connect the cable boxes which only have coax and HDMI port in and out ports. I added the MAC addresses of the cable boxes to one of my 5G routers, but I still get an RDK-10000 error. No help from Xfinity customer support. Any suggestions?

You can set it up wirelessly only as an Extender so you won't have the benefits of AiProtection in this mode.

@@KnowledgeSharingTech I figured it out. Crazy that asus’ web interface is different than their app. The app does not have the same functionality as the web browser. The app sucks. FYI. I also had issues setting up the router using the app. I had to do it manually with the browser too. Sadly Merlin is not avail for this asus model

Make sure you have the latest firmware and that you are running Asus firmware and not Merlin firmware

I cannot get this working either on Brave browser! According to ASUS trouble shooting page this certificate method does not work for all browsers. Also I have noticed in my router Administration/System page that I already had a server certificate installed, and you can only install one certificate for the router. I guess the server certificate is automatically installed because I am using port forwarding for gaming? I can still login via HTTP, as I selected 'Both' on setup. I have only one certificate related to my AX5400 router, but I am not sure if this certificate relates to port forwarding or the secure logon feature (which apparently failed)?

I'm not sure on your issue, but I use the Brave browser, and I do have the https working with my Router using asuswrt-merlin firmwre. I also selected Both, as I figured if a problem occurs, then I won't ever be able to log back into the router? That seems like a potential big issue.

Its better to install the certificate with certificates management in Edge, your way the certificate only lasted 1 day and the your connection isnt prived message was back.
