8:49 In addition to setting up Port forwarding on the ISP's router, don't you have to reserve an IP for your VPN router as well? Unless DHCP is disabled on your ISP router.

Hi, Thanks for the video, this is great. However, can you do a TP link VPN connection guide setting up a wiregaurd server? I’m having a lot of trouble with this even tho I followed all the steps provided by multiple different tutorials. I access my NAS from outside the home using Tailscale so I don't need to setup anything on my router. Is there an advantage to setting up the VPN on the router vs setting it up on individual devices ?

@@ntech1507 you are probably connected to your home wifi network. The vpn will work if you are on a different network (mobile network, or different wifi network)
