Pretty sure that ratched system is pronounced 'Bow-a' as in the snake a Boa Constrictor. (A play on the way it constricts/ tightens to secure). At least it is with snowboarding boots lacing systems.

Maybe in brit it's different... But probably not😂

Bought some a few days ago. They're pretty good and warmer than my other gloves. I ride a zxr and they've improved my commute. I only ride 30 miles or so per work day, for that they're ok but for people riding for longer periods I'd suggest going for heated gloves.

There my go to glove in the winter when its raining + I’ve got good powerbronze handgaurds against windchill . Never let me down , if it’s really dry cold I use heated gloves as they heat all over your fingers , not just your palms. When h3 s give up I’ll get the 4s 😊👍👍👍

Presumably level 1 glove that most if not all Knox are. Knox make great stuff but I wish they would do that little bit extra and get level 2

Level 2 requires a long gauntlet (50mm cuff vs 15mm), most of knoxes gloves arent long enough to get it even if they have more protection than required which honestly is a pretty bad rule. They should have lvl 1 and 2 for impact/abrasion and then a separate mark for long cuff like the KP for knuckle armor. So you simply cannot make a shorter glove and get anything higher than lvl 1 no matter how much armor and abrasion resistance you have and in terms of armor the knox gloves have a LOT.

These Knox gloves are level 2 for impact but then are level 1 for cuts resistance, abrasion resistance, seam strength, tear strength so there is much more to it than just the gauntlet being needed. Oxford's nexus glove is level 2 across the board without a massive gauntlet. I like Knox's stuff and own a few pieces from them but they don't offer the protection that the marketing leads you to believe

Also I think all gloves should make it easier to see the level of protection provided under the different categories. It's so much easier to see how a jacket has been tested than gloves for pretty much all manufacturers which makes buying gloves difficult.

How does the backhand armour work in the rain with that hole in it.

Nice looking gloves but £190… feels excessive for a winter glove with no heating in them.

I'm currently looking for a new winter gloves. I do like the look of those..Great quality build and all the armour really well placed. Is the membrane bonded to the leather or stitched to tips of thumbs n fingers??

Ok..no answer. Cheers.

bought some 3 days ago. Looks like it's all inside, the only things stitched on top are on thumb and 2 fingers which are for the touchscreen.

Can you get them to work with the Fuel Bunker jacket?

Possibly the locking system may be pronounced as Boa, as in Boa Constrictor, the snake that squeezes it prey to death, as opposed to B.O.A. 👍

Does anyone use these gloves and can tell me how they work.? ? ?

bought some 3 or 4 days ago, just in time for the snow. They are warm I wore them with no liner they were fine. boa fastner is ok but velcro would've been fine and maybe less fiddly. Honestly, at £150, not sure they're the best value item I've bought.
