I agree. Scru has a voice for battle and he has some good murder bars if that's the kind of thing you're into, but Knox has him lyrically and is definitely the more skilled researcher. I'd say he is the more skilled rapper in terms of cadences and flows too, but he didn't really bring that here, which is probably a good move to make sure everyone can catch it. Also, he used the Kendrick beat to follow the line about it being the only think Scru will listen to as a diss in and of itself and to keep it thematic. I guess we can feel whatever way about the direction it has been going, but there was at least some artistic justification. And Scru did start it with that part of this battle to promo his upcoming EP. And good for you for turning it around. Respect. For some context, Knox really did get his intel from the Shady camp. They know who he is and they don't like Scru at all because Scru did act behind their backs with the EZ thing, even if it may not have been as stalkerish as it may have come off. Knox has always been fair to Scru. He featured Scru on Monsters and paid him for his time when it was Scru who reached out. He gave Scru the first round on the Gawne battle and was supporting both because he had worked with them. He said that while he wasn't big on Scru's behavior, the ERB was hard. He didn't even mention that Scru didn't write it (nobody gets to write their whole ERB, it's big time penned and produced). Then he just left him alone until Scru came after his friends and Knox himself. Scru had years to decide what he wanted to do with this and still is caught on the back foot rebuttling the few things he can. Because Knox just isn't that controversial and is well liked among the big reactors and the industry. The worst thing is, there's still several more songs that could be made about Scru. And if Knox did dig deeper into public records and deleted social media content (which I assume he may have if he saw Scru's mom's and brother's convictions), he could do some serious damage that might mess with the dude's home life. I don't think he'd take it there because he's a father himself and as far as I know, Scru hasn't been moving like that since he stopped touring and started KZbin, but it could get very serious. Anyway, I appreciate your reactions and you got a new sub out of me.

To help some, the clip with skeem was meant to cause people to look further, years ago scru had issues with skeem, skeem was looking into him and allegedly found scrus patron where he was flying fans that gave him money out and slept with them. And sence the age of consent is 16 some of the ones he flew out were supposedly under 18. Skeem did one song were he mentioned it and scru left him alone and deleted the server. Skeem did a reaction about why knox brought him up. Skeem didnt grab any screen shots so its something that has no proof, but thats just like most of the claims made in this dis. Half the "recipts" are questionable and make people have to decide who they feel is more comfortable believing.

What you said at the beginning. I feel you on not being into the pair of these... beefers (?). I've never liked Scru as a person at all (just a gut feeling about him), and Knox' music never really had that feeling to me that hit's my soul. However, Scru can most certainly rap, and so can Knox; but Knox is in a higher tier when it comes to lyrical prose on every level. I'm here for the bars and not the beef, if that makes sense, and Knox in battle mode smokes Scru and also his own regular music. The only thing I like about Scru is he hit back with his own receipts and kind of killed "Stalker", but then Knox flipped the dial on this one.

Great reaction and I like how you just stay honest and give your feelings without caring. SCRU did have nice flows but it’s not hard for anyone that knows KZbin to see how he moves. Knox isn’t the one to play with, he is scheming on him with word play I doubt Darren even catches. Literally takes me 5+ listens to catch everything.
