I'm a therapist in Houston. Many girls who have been trafficked met their groomer on streaming/gaming chats. I have a few high risk clients right now with ASD who have sent explicit pictures to these groomers. Ages ranging from 12-16. There's this famous case last year of a girl found in a ditch here from one of these types of encounters. This is disgusting

It makes my stomach turn. This is obviously active grooming. Talking to a child about sexual contact with both genders. Trying from multiple angles, they are trying to lay the groundwork of pushing it further. Continuing to pressure him after he continuously expresses his discomfort. This isn’t the first time they’ve done something like this, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s gone further. I think it's important to acknowledge how well this kid handled a really awkward situation that he should never have been placed in. He was the child in this, yet he acted with more common sense than the "adult", reminded Ak of his age, and held his ground. I would have preferred if he'd left earlier, to limit his exposure to this behaviour, but he didn't fall for the bait and didn't get pressured into doing anything he didn't want to, like giving out his address. Well played, young 'un 😎 Ak, on the other hand, is compromised, we all know this - from when he left his stream running which messed up his alibi, to the accusations of horrific behaviour made against him, tohis temper tantrums when he's called out. He's a nasty piece of work. He deserves all the judgement he gets for this behaviour and anyone with any sense will step away from dealing with him. Those who choose to stay now look compromised by association.

Sometimes my 7yo son will ask me why he's not allowed to use chat in video games, and I tell him the truth. It's not just other kids playing. There are far too many predators using those games to gain access to children, and over my dead body will I allow them access to mine. He wants to play fortnite and roblox? That's fine, but the only chatting that's going to be happening is video calls on his tablet with his cousin/best friend he's in a match with.

What's even sadder is that other kids are not entirely safe either. Successfully groomed kids go on to spread what they're taught. It's why my 9yr old nephew can't chat anymore. This shows so many signs that this is not the first time Ak has been like this around kids. For one, he is far too casual and comfortable doing this and he has no fear around sexually harrassing that child even after the boy tried to put up boundaries. On top of that, he's doing this in a public space but there's no tone that shows he's trying to be covert or cautious. This is a man who does not expect to get any pushback or face consequences which means something has made him feel at ease doing this and it's likely the fact that he's gotten away with it before. And lastly, the fact that he's doing this while actively around other people and he does not seem to worry at any point that those other men will hold him accountable, report him or give any backlash. He seems very confident that he can sexually harass and attempt grooming activities with a kid without any of the other adults in the room being shocked/disgusted/angry/against it in any way. He knows they'll join in and he'll have fellow predatory men supporting his actions in the moment. Ak and all of those other men there need to be under a prison somewhere.
