The "I'm an emcee shredder" line is such an obscure bar. While most people know shredder as the antagonist of the turtles. What most don't know is the fact that in the comics. Raphael actually became shredder for a short time. Cool they made the artist Raphael have that bar.

I bet I'm Parliament; I'm positive I'm killing it! I'm iller than the plague I never caught - uh, cholera - a baller baller, on some cricket bowler business while you're sitting in the bleachers. I was one of the lesser Donatello fans, all of them were cool but he was smart and had a very understated weapon. The bo staff is not only a great weapon by itself, but with it as your main form of weapon training if you are disarmed in battle it is very easy to find a replacement almost anywhere, sticks handles of tools etc. Also I loved both games and I still have them packed up in some box somewhere, a lot of games that were hard at that time is because they were also arcade games and the way they made money was by getting you to use a lot of coins, it is also why a lot of them are short because they didn't rely on a lot of gameplay they relied heavily on multiple deaths

Donatello is the turtle I love the most, because he was the most brilliant member of the team, coming up with all their vehicles and gadgets. Also Knox you missed the reference to the Fruit Ninja game series in Artist Donatello's first part. "Born in goop, raised in poop and I slice thru a ninja like fruit, oops!" Donatello fan here. He was smart in a way that spoke to me and I appreciated his weapon: reach, potential non lethal, could be used for other things if necessary. It probably helped that other people gravitated toward Leonardo and Michaelangelo early and Raphael after the first movie came out but I never had to fight anyone to be/play with Donatello

Just like almost everyone here, I'm a Donatello fan. The style of the beat is from 90s NY B-boy rap, like Beastie Boys, which is very fitting to the place and time where the TMNT gained popularity. ERB uses beats that compliment the theme of the battles. Also when DaVinci says he turns turtles into mincemeat, he might be referring to how he would literally pay grave robbers to bring corpses that he would butcher in order to learn about human anatomy.

Donatello has always been my favorite for some reason but I don’t know why. I was very young when I was watching ninja turtles and I moved on to other shows the older I got so I honestly couldn’t tell you why he was my favorite. I’ve always liked the color and weapon of Donatello, but that’s about all I could offer as a possible reason. Also, Blackbeard vs Capone!

Man, I remember playing TMNT on that old style giant ass arcade games, back in 99-2000. My dad took me with him when he went out to the bar with his buddies and the bar had an arcade. I kept losing but the whole bar kept inserting new coins so I can play more. Payed to be a cute kid, hahaha. Cool memories. Think I played for at least 5 hours.

Knox buddy! Did you notice on the first set of the artist, nearly every time that Michaelangelo appeared, he was doing a pose from his works? First the thinker, then when he mentioned Rap God, his pose was the one he pained of God on the Sistine chapel. Another clever set of references to catch.

Knox, it's kind of a hidden double reference, but SAI is also a digital art program like Photoshop, Open Canvas, or Clip Studio. So, it's a either a reference about digital artists today being trained on digital, but that could also be me stretching.

The TMNT NES game was balls hard at a certain point. The dam level where you had to disarm bombs underwater with an unforgiving time limit and electrified seaweed was the kryptonite for many a young gamer, myself included

This, there was actually two turtle games for the nes, the original with the nightmare dam mission and some seriously hard parts throughout. And also a side scrolling arcade-fighter style game that played much like the snes sequel, turtles in time, did. It was however overall harder than the snes version because old the NES era games nintendont let you have an easy time of it.

Didn't get all that much easier afterwards either to be honest, when the little mechanical biter enemies came along. Due to how the attack animations worked it was just extremely difficult to deal with those fast and small jumping mofo's. And of course, permadeath. Once all four turtles had died, it was just flat out game over, start from stage 1. No codes to continue from the start of the current level or anything like a lot of other games at the time had.

I can’t remember if I beat turtles in time. I remember getting pretty far. My favorite turtle was Leonardo but when my cousins and I “played” TMNT I was always Donatello cuz I had glasses. It meant I was “smart” haha. I grew to love Donny though and I honestly feel like visually speaking his weapon of choice is the best. Just looks cool.

When Ralphial said he passed the 🎤 to his friend on the ceiling it sounds like pinacillin and pinacillin is made from fungus and what do the turtles put on their pizza mushrooms and what grows down in the sewer fungus so makes you think where they got the mushrooms for their pizza

Raph was always my favorite. His first line in this one, "I'm cool but rude guy" is a reference the old school theme song "Raphael is cool but rude".
