For some reason, you popped up on my explore page today, I watched one video and then proceeded to binge watch your videos. I’ve never been a huge fan of rap, I’ll listen to it here and there but again, not listening to it daily. But let me tell you, after watching you, I have a whole new found respect and admiration for rap and the artists. I never knew how deep and just plain fucking brilliant some of the lines are. You’ve mentioned multiple times how incredible some of these rappers are for the bars they write. I’m amazed by your mind and the fact that not only can you hear each and every word but you are able to decipher what’s being said and explain it to people like me in a way that’s easy to understand. And to top it off, you have a plethora of knowledge on not just hip hop but random shit as well. I watched a few other KZbinrs who do reaction videos like you and they usually catch the tail end of a line and make these loud “damnnn” noises and never go into detail about what’s being said. Not you though, you decode every single word showing us just how passionate you are about this genre of music. So bravo to you for making these videos. You’ve gained a new fan and subscriber!!

After the rubber, glue line he slips in “I’ve never stated more than what I’m demonstrating”(or something along those lines. It’s really fast) going into the levitating line. Meaning his actions and what he’s shown more than back up anything he’s ever said about himself. Also, goes with the scheme earlier about knowing his stature in the game, and telling young rappers to pay homage (“I’m a Doberman pinch yourself and pay homage poodle (pupil)”) like he often does to the rappers before him. This man has mastered words. I wonder how much time he actually spent on this song. It’s a masterpiece that I don’t think we will ever know all the references too.

Thanks for the reaction and breakdown! I first heard this in the car with my son, he said, you have to hear rap god by Eminem , I can remember listening to LL’s first vinyl record, way back when people were break dancing on cardboard boxes in the empty lot or the local boys club. So I’ve been listening to rap since the beginning of rap and introduced it to my son years later and played several songs that I rapped along with, blowing his mind cause he had no idea his father was so schooled in rap. I grew up in a different world, a different time. I was present for so many different times and trends and so thankful to enjoy so many different kinds of music and to get to see my son enjoy a lot of the same music. We both love Pink Floyd, Allman brothers, Tedeschi Trucks band, a band my son turned me on to. Amazing to see things come full circle and to be enjoying this incredible song by a true rap god who always pays respect to those before him. Your the first to break this down so in depth. Thanks I appreciate your passion. I know when first listening to this with my son, in his car with some Rockford speakers and amp, gave me the chills. And odd my name is Irving, I’m the 4th my son is the 5th (V) when growing up, when around some older friends and family they would say oivee , almost like a Jewish reference to my name, I’ve often been asked if I was Jewish because of my name and that word, saying oivee is often said like someone saying omg. Usually heard from people of the Jewish culture, religion. I worked in Long Island with a friend who’s family was Jewish and I heard all this from them. It was always In fun and respectful. Hopefully this gives you more insight into the term. That’s my experience and understanding with it. Again thank you for your review of this awesome song and rap god that is Eminem. Thanks take care, stay safe and healthy!!

Hi Knox! I just recently discovered your channel and I'm gonna give you a subscribe even though I dont usually do it with other reaction channels. So you disecting bars by bars enlightens me to what each line really means. And damn theres so much Im missing just by listening. I'm missing half of the experience that a rap song has to offer because I was just merely listening to it, and you making these videos contributes a lot for my appreciation for the art of hiphop. Em with his lyric writing is just genius. And it takes one to know one. So you earned it man. I hope your channel gets more recognize and you yourself for the genius that you are.

Encore has: Yellow brick road, mockingbird, mosh, like toy soldiers, never enough, we as Americans, Ricky ticky tock, and rain man. I wasent sure if I like that album either so I looked it up. Those are some bangers all in that album lol.

Mockingbird by far the best in the album

I honestly also think that the shoot for the moon line was a shout out to his song i believe it was Not Afraid where he says "I'd shoot for the moon but im too busy gazing at stars I feel amazing enough" also love the vids man i cant wait to catch a livestream soon

Knox, we love learning here, evolving, and all the knowledge you've handed out, I have to give back man. The earth was hit by a planet similar to the size of earth and then it broke off from the impact, fusing with earth and the moon containing parts of the earth. Now the moon is tight locked around the earth.

@@stephallan2543 I'm not sure what you mean Steph, if you're unsure what I'm saying, Knox was sure that the moon fell into orbit around the earth as is. And with these in depth views Knox gives about rap culture, I'm sure he's an advocate for learning.

I'm surprised you didn't connect the visual of the portal with how no matter where Em takes the bars he keeps bringing everything back to the core of the song like going through the portals to come back the start.

47:00 Another thing to add to the Pharaoh line that ties it to the theme of the song is that, not only were pharaohs kings, pharaohs were also supposed to be treated as gods to the people of ancient Egypt.
