Yes they have been around for a while, Retevis sent me this for review and I haven't reviewed many DMR radios, it's a nice radio, solid.

Did you try it with any 3rd party antenna on high and what about the antenna impedance missmatch that a lot of people are talking about?

No just the stock antenna but the gd77 did seem to out perform it in the field hmm I will check before part 2 of this video.

great videos mate! i am using wouxun KD-UVD-1 (not P) do you know what is the difference between them ? P and not P version ? I am also looking for some new radio but more powerfull than wouxun KG-UVD-1/P which one would you recommend? I was interested in some of Baofengs but non of those 8W versions actually has 8W :(

UV 8000 is a very good radio, dual band and is one of the most powerful and it can be used as a repeater, there is a review of this on my channel, thanks for watching.

You cant test DMR with a PWR Meter because the TX is keyed 40 Times a Second
