"Ever seen Joe Rogan, On speed and whippets and cocaine and shrooms and herpa de doo?" Bra. I'm tellin' ya, Steve-o is straight up a product of time turning powdered knowledge into hardened wisdom. Alas, the last great transcendence of Mankind has come to pass. Turns out the best things humans were MMA fighters, doors idiots on Jackass, the worst and most sadistic propaganda perversion of media use since Nazi Germany. So clearly humanity has not had a worldwide experience of enlightenment, A'la Jordan Peterson. We're certain violence will solve everything, clearly the key isn't atomic explosions but continued sadistic worldwide sadism via proxy gov't's, Terminator and 1984 hasn't managed to assuage humankinds bloodlust, clearly since humans can problem solve we said "bro shit looks aight, just send it!" "Whaaa why is the world so mad at USA? My generation said US-#1! We gotta be SUPER AWESOME! " Failing in any capacity to live learn and evolve. I guarantee the worst idiot shit I THINK ive done, seems much milder than thw heinous degradation of reality worldwide. I do hope Coca-Cola will be super chill dudes with the first nations water rights. Aint no ways profit over moral and ethical decent has ever been a bad path, not once for humanity. We got this shitshow running ahead of schedule. Hell, if divine self preservation hadn't kicked in, we'd be nu-la-lear ized into almost the first profitable zombied humans capable of absolute unrelenting horror amd despair, but i guess the marginalized inflated derpy-doo narcissistic mindsets will surely totally annihilate all the bastards who 100% like a dingo, ate mah baby. Surely mankind aint ever in any ways to blame, we all investigated ourselves and said " nah dog, shits that other clearly communistic guys problem. I'm a sky wizard fearing, reality deluding, utter insanity factory. I made sure to exhaustively accuse the internet for my own failings, alas I decided I'm right. Good thing too, can you imagine what horrible societal impact this would have if a unskilled and less than dedicated narcissist had performed the investigation? I hope God turns out to be real, I'm wrong and my eternity will be the constant repeated mindeset that "holy fuck, ive been wrong this whole time. As someone that loves shooting and watches a lot of videos and stuff about ballistics and shit, it was 100% for the best that Tremaine stopped Knoxville in that shotgun bit. A round busting through three fucking sheets of plywood, he might not have died (if it hit where they were aiming), but it would have been a really bad day. He would have been hospitalized for months at least.

Incredible to recognize in Steve that same gut feeling that all men experience eventually: awareness of our own mortality. Dickhouse films and tv were amazing documents of young, fearless men behaving badly with ZERO concern for the consequences, much like their fanbase. But we all have that moment where we step outside ourselves during a ridiculous stunt and realize we're pushing the envelope way too hard. It's a critical turning point in our manhood. No doubt Ryan Dunn's death was a harsh wake up call to all of them. Sadly Dunn didn't get to survive that boyish instinct in all of us to do "anything for a laugh". Once you begin to respect your own limits, you're onto the next chapter of manhood. You're made wiser by your own stupidity if that makes any sense.

Oof, man at 29 I had that full gut-wrenching realization one afternoon waking up from a nap--the full realization that I will some day die, and likely even experience it as it is happening, and I won't be able to stop it--it is truly inevitable. Basically gave myself a panic attack by existential crisis, it was awful. It truly made me realize the bliss of youth...

I'm in two minds about Jackass 4, after what happened to Dunn, 3 seemed like the perfect way to end, even the end credits song with Wheezer. It all tied up really well. but also I'm psyched to finally be old enough to go and watch a Jackass movie in theaters!

Jackass was basically the 'methadone' to the grunge era of the 90's. What I mean is it was the only thing that still had that energy while everything else was becoming Back Street Boys and Brittany Spears and MTV TRL dominated.
