The vocals on this gave me the chills! I feel too often once pop punk bands start getting bigger and get comfortable, they have a harder time writing angsty music and keeping that edge. These vocals still have all the angst I love about pop punk. Well done KP.

The instrumental of this song (especially the intro) makes me picture the scene of me leaving home at like 11am on a bright, sunny day in June to spend the day out with my friends after spending a few days in my room feeling alone. I'm are rather excited, but I still have doubts lurking in the back of my head and I try to push them away. And then, finally, when I arrive at the lake/beach/train station where we agreed to meet and my friends are waiting there for me, I manage to put those thoughts away and enjoy the day and it ends up being a really good day that I'll remember for weeks. I know this is very specific, but I hope someone can relate to this.

I feel like I'm in the 1990s-2000s again, just a quiet outcast kid on a school bus, picturing myself in a music video, often involving a crush & a more exciting life. None of those those dreams from back then came true, but the music always helped me cope. 🎸💀🎵🎧
