I used to have horrible depression last year, and i thought about ending my life so many times, until I heart copacetic, and one song on that album changed me for the best. That song was Ponder, and when I first heard that song, I lost it and started bawling my eyes out, after that I was determined to not stay in my room all day and starve myself, and just think about all the negatives in life. The lyrics that meant the most to me were "I'll tell you everything is copacetic." Copacetic to me means that life isn't always horrible, and that everything will fall into place soon. That song got me through so much, but evergreen did too, and if it wasn't for this band, I wouldn't be here, or as happy as I am today. I love these guys will all of my heart.

While people helped get me through it, when people couldn't help, music could. Just hang in there if you ever get to that place again. I mean while I still take meds for my depression, I can still get through it without it most of the time. Sorry about this long rant I guess you'd call it. But I'm proof that it doesn't always stay bad. I congratulate you for staying strong.

I have never been depressed and I bet people tell you this all the time but like life isn't always horrible even if it doesn't seem like that at the moment because there are so many small things that are so lovely and so many lovely places to discover that just are waiting to be found and it could just be how the cold air feels that one day or how the fog seems to carry something big, these small things should be enough for you to live and you just have to see things differently. Like sometimes birds can sound wonderful and other days they won't shut the fuck up. But believe one day you will find something or someone beautiful to just brighten up your day and you will forget all things you feel because eventually you won't feel as bad as you did months ago because things doesn't last forever even if it feels like that. And omg I'm not sure if your problems are as big now bc I'm like 62772 months late to comment this but I just kind of wanted to say something bc what you wrote were really touching even tho it's just a few words and omg im just a sentimental kid I'll stop hahah

Around 2015-2016 I used to listen to a lot of pop punk, melodic hardcore, emo, etc. I was in high school at that time with 17-18 years old, now that I'm 26 and listening to this again, it makes me too nostalgic. Especially when I'm drinking at home on a weekend remembering those years while listening to this in the background. Life definitely goes by very fast.

Been going through a pretty rough time lately having lost someone who was like a second father to me and this song has really been helping me through it. I can’t handle everything with my life, one for one the life takes back what i need. then this the rona things came and i lost my jobs, everything’s become dark. I had so many bad thoughts, the first is i wanna end my life so much because I can’t even handle with myself. Then i played this song when I’m in a low state, i feel fine.
