Hey guys, welcome to LOST BITS! Where I will cover unused, unreleased and unseen things in various games! In this video, we’re checking out the non-Sonic 2D Sonic Game: Knuckles Chaotix! Although the gameplay is pretty different than a traditional Sonic the Hedgehog game, it's still pretty decent, and the music in this game is AMAZING! Knuckles Chaotix has various bits of unused content including some unused sounds as well as a ton of unused sprites! Hope you enjoy!

Note: as the great Cybershell said, there are both similarities between Sonic CD and Knuckles Chaotix, especially between the random inclusion of Amy and Metal Sonic, 3D Special Stages without the Chaos Emeralds, the design and Colors, the sound effects, even if you wait too long Metal Sonic will try to kill you! It’s very interesting.

In terms of the character "Ten Star" most people just call it "Wechnia" and if you mess with configurations enough, you can actually play as him where he plays identically to Tails.

@@MossySRB2 Yes. He even gets tired like Tails But the commenter is wrong with the “certain configurations” stuff. Wechnia only acts like Tails in prototype versions of the game before they dummied out the flight, he has Mighty’s moveset in the final version

I actually really like the name "Tennstar" for the white Knuckles character, even though the more common nickname is "Wechnia" - did you know that Dr. Starline from the IDW Sonic comics was actually directly inspired by this exact glitch? Their colour palettes look very similar AND Starline's name is obviously a direct nod to the glitched character's name being a *line* of *stars.* Crazy how far a simple glitch can go when in the right hands.

2 things, 1: 10 Star is called the 'Wechnia" 2: Espio was planned to also be the main character, the evidence is that 1: Espio is in front of knuckles on the title screen, and 2: Espio is the top of the list of names on the act start screen

Interestingly, it turns out the Sonic Extended Universe character Dr. Starline is also, supposedly, based on "10 Star" or "Wechnia," whatever it might be. The name comes from the literal "line of stars" that makes up the original name!

I love this game. It becomes a lot more fun when you stop trying to play it as a sonic game and instead play it as what it is. Finding ways to break the level design with the rings is one of my favorite things to do. I would love to see a video on the prototypes for this game.

Thanks for covering this game! PLEEEEEEEEAAAAASSEEEE do a bigger video containing the pre-release content! This is my favorite Sonic spin-off game and features my all time FAVORITE cast of Sonic characters! Had fond memories with this game. Heck, my parents know it as "The rubber-band game"! lol. From what I remember, Ten star has been given the name of wechnia and while wech and knuckles do control the same on the ground, wechnia does have the same flying ability as tails! Getting tired out and all! Oh and in one of the pre-release versions, wechnia has a color pallet closer to tails.

I think that the skull (7:30) belongs to either Knuckles or Eggman. I say that because they don't have ears and Sonic and Tails have ears and there are no ears on the skull. That's just an idea :)

Oh, I just love this game! It's really fun in Multiplayer and the mechanics are just so unique. Sure, it might not play like a Classic Sonic game, but if you think around that mindset it can become quite fun! Seeing more of the prerelease stuff would be awesome!

My theory is that the Robotnik "Pickle Jar" animation was meant to be Robotnik juggling chaos emeralds like in the bad ending graphic in Sonic 1 and 2, and either it was scrapped before the chaos emeralds were added to the graphic or it was meant to be a separate graphic that would be overlayed. I really want to see another video from you for Knuckles Chaotix and a more deeper analysis in the lost bits. I’m telling that because you’re doing excellent analysis on lost bits and many time you show some “hardcore fan” lost bits things, that other channels are skipped them or they don’t know their existence. Knuckles Chaotix was a game with full potentials and it’s a good game if you have some time to spend with it and try to learn the combi moves. Once again great video!👍✌️

I had the 32X and this game when I was a kid. Unfortunately, my cartridge was likely defective because it would always crash after a certain point, no matter what I did. I've long since lost track of the system and games I had for it, but I was finally able to play the game via an emulator a few years ago. Still as fun as I remembered. I never thought I'd see the game featured on here, so thanks for your video! I'd love to see the prototype content.
