KNUT demands immediate closure of Bridge Academies

The government of Kenya is soon going to declare the fate of the more than 400 Bridge International Academies in the country, after the Kenya National Union of Teachers declared the franchise a fraud that must be closed with immediate effect.
Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, says he is already engaged in talks with the owners of the institutions, before the much anticipated pronouncement. But as Francis Mutegi reports, Bridge International Academies says those agitating for their closer, are not sincere and such action will have far reaching consequences.
