22:06 I was playing this while helping my friend drive a uhaul from Portland to San Francisco. We were on that rural stretch of the 5 freeway just outside of Eugene when we played this project. Just smoking and watching the hills pass by. It was a beautiful day. I swear when 22:06 came on, both of us just went silent. The entire tape is glass smooth, but this joint brought us to a higher place. I still remember the feeling of watching the fences and farmhouses fly by on the side of the road. In a way it matched the tension of the drum pattern, while the clouds and green hillsides slowly passing on the horizon resembled the meandering, airy sample. Just beautiful.

This was my first Knxwledge album that I heard. And it was several years ago. At that time, I didnt even listen to hip hop, it was just an aleatoric recommendation from youtube. I remember that i liked it so much that I downloaded it, I heard it a lot of times and it was saved on my computer. Years later my journey of musical discovery throughout my life led me to listen to hip hop and learn how to make beats and I came back with this album. I still find it incredible.
