Zenitsu can be a weirdo, but he has such a special place in my heart alongside Giyuu. They’re both very relatable characters with how they react to the situation they’re in. Realistically, I’d scream and cry just as much as Zenitsu does if I was a demon slayer. (Also, Giyuu and Zenitsu share lots of similarities to each other and I think that’s an interesting combination that we didn’t see in the canon story)

So icky. I feel like all Shinobu haters are anime watchers who just pity Tomioka (Or Douma meat riders). Tomioka is a good character don't get me wrong. He also wants to befriend some of the other hashira especially Sanemi(Not implying romantic attraction). But the hashiras who dislike Tomioka(Sanemi, Iguro, Shinobu and Uzui) all dislike him because they find his behavior to be haughty and rude as he doesn't respond to others and always has "a scowl" on his face (when in reality he's just an introvert). I'm not saying her picking on Tomioka was nice but hating her because she told your favourite character that nobody (that they associate with) likes him is extremely childish behavior honestly. It also feels like most Mitsuri fans who dislike Shinobu only dislike her because she is a female character who isn't childish, overly cheerful and constantly fawning over the other hashira and kissing their asses while they share a rank (and feeling the need to put her in her.. place?? "Shut up" Zawg.. 💀). (Not saying Mitsuri is a bad character either) Shinobu respects the other hashira especially Gyomei because they're obviously respectable and kind people but she doesn't need to roll over like a dog for them to acknowledge her respect. -ps, I'm aware I'm ranting but I'm not angry Sociology is just my special interest and Shinobu is a character I like. In that scene Sanemi was surprised and practically in disbelief this 16 yr old kid who cries all the same could be so strong.
