Keeping a shield on your castle 24/7 is much harder then you think if you spend no money at all on the game, its pretty hard I remember when I didn't spend any money I did everything I could to keep a shield over my castle and it was just about impossible...

@@rev3 it depends on his troops and fighting strategy. My lead was a 26 with 200 mil power, he had a wall of T2 infantry (1 mil) and good fighting skills. Would take that weak level 30 Balls anytime. Some just rush upgrading their strongholds, but power does not stay in that.

If you expect to play for free you better join the top alliance. Once you are zeroed you will continue to be farmed. Also it's nearly impossible to play for free. You must be in top alliance. It will cost you 30K gold ($100) per month just to stay bubbled 24/7.......to give you an idea

I'm in k423 sh23 I've spent about 600 on my account, I've upgraded for free using farms and spend most of my money on lucky shots for valor and it's helped a lot we just did conquest and my 23 with 200 stats was beating a lot of 26-27 with 60s and 70s in conquest if u spend smartly u don't have to spend a ton to be competitive

cool video, just one thing: where would you get the shields to protect you 24/7? Donations can only take you so far and your gold income won't keep up if you spend gold on shields. This question is for the f2p players or for the players who don't spend all that much (like me).

Yeah that could work. From the video it seemed like he said that we should shield for 24/7, but maybe he meant just for the dangerous moments like the kill event, idk. To possibly answer your question, I think killing lvl 30 monsters and going for lvl 6 barbarian chests (+ bonus chest) is the only way, or maybe I should say cheapest way, to get those materials. Saving up coins for the archer guy and saving those tarrot stones for the right rewards could also help out. Don't think there is a fast way to this without spending money.

Got all buildings lvl 5 and just constantly researching and training trooos and traps, when I get my taxes I’ll get a few packs probably if I like the game enough, just a lot of stuff to learn for me. I was a game of war player myself, so i have experience playing these types of games at least

Best way to keep your troops safe without a shield is to send to your allies who have shield, or are to big to be hit. Save your gold and shields for when your working on your stronghold and will be hording alot of recources.

I've played a lot of empire Rome rising which is a similar game, u need to stay bubbled because even when u are offline, your city is still on the map, so if u don't want to log in and find your city decimated, u need to stay bubbled. Unless its a peaceful server xD
