@@BraveJammer You're welcome BraveJammer. I'm 64 yrs old and have been a car guy, more like a car nut since age 11. When I watched this video I was reminded of building model cars back then and focusing on the details like painting the radio knobs & door handles, white letters on tires etc on those small models. Not a good comparison to what you built here sir but I recognize you are clever, skillful and pay attention to detail. What you've accomplished by remarkable effort led to this impressive machine snd impressive it is from many different angles.

Watching this video turned out to be much more than I expected. What a truly nice job. Mr. Barris combined three coaches into one. You made them all from scratch. Amazing! I am dumbfounded that one person could do all this from beginning to end, by himself, in his wide open backyard - weather and all. So impressed! Serious congratulations. Can't help but wonder how the discussions went down at the DMV. :-)
@BraveJammer2 жыл бұрын
Ryan, Thank You! It was a Journey from the unknown, but something for my kids to talk about someday, I didn't know anything about Barris or even the Munster's until I woke up one morning. Kinda sad how allot of Barris's artifacts have scattered, what a artist and contribution to americana. Yes all from scratch I knew I wanted transvers front and rear suspension and the overall look but there was no blueprint! There were challenges but everything went pretty good. ~ Good bones to work with in the future. It was drivable before the 4th but it did take several weeks for the local office to get things correct for the state it may had been the first or second vehicle the local office ever did. but the state DMV was a blast I drove it first time the over hour drive to the DMV the people there were waiting with cameras some of who never check vehicles bit they seen the paperwork and came. It all went very well allot of laughs and best wishes "Have a great Halloween!!" and back home I went. Its been a blast!! Best wishes!!

@upperccutt9 ай бұрын
I dont know i guess its just me but its just not wide enough .
@BraveJammer8 ай бұрын
It is only 60" wide, The steering column, pedals and seats were places just as they are on our Escalade so the front cabin area is as wide as a full size SUV with the dash height and so on to match todays full size, I wanted to make sure it was comfortable to drive and not squished like the originals!
@UberLummox2 жыл бұрын
Great fab skills! I'm curious as to why you made it so much wider & longer?
@BraveJammer2 жыл бұрын
Thank You! I have intentions to drive it as much as I can so I made it comfortable ~ wider, and interior designed off our Escalade. To me everything about this car is loud and obnoxious so I also made it longer, a much larger center section and more room in the driving cabin. If it wasn't fun to drive I was afraid I would enjoy all the hard work. But it IS! easy to drive and allot of fun. Need a cup holder! All my best
