I seen a koala munch down an apple 🍎 so I don't know if they only eat leaf

I've seen videos of koalas eating apples. Can or do they eat other produce as well (pears, squash, carrots)? And if their diets are supplemented with higher nutrition, would they sleep less? I've Googled this, but I can't find an answer.

Yup I've seen it too. They can eat other things people just don't seem to care to look into other things for these beautiful friends of ours

At whiteman park they eat apple on Fridays with gum leaves
