Melt and Pour Soap Making Ideas Daisies Embed Swirl Soap Design :
I got these really nice Daisy molds for melt and pour soap. I really like the look of flowers in the
soap so I decided to make some. I wanted the daisies to have more depth so I did paint and seal the
mica with clear melt and pour soap to lock hte color without it running into the soap.

Wow another great video. I am currently working on some in beds for my grandchildren soap. It's the gummy bear mold. I got it in the mail yesterday and have not had time to use it yet hopefully this evening once my grandchildren get home will be able to work on some. I would love to do gummy bears in a similar fashion as what you are doing with the oval mold. Wish me luck happy soaping. Deb

Hi Lizelle, I test the market. If they sell well, I make a larger batch. If they are slower to sell, I will replenish in smaller batches to save space and inventory of the bases.

Lizelle, then make the most of the molds, You only need to buy 1 mold but then you can make tons of soap in them. Sorry that it was so expensive though. 🌺

Could I ask what your typical usage rate for micas are? I tried Brambleberry's suggestion of 1/2 tsp for pound but still get bleeding with some colors.

I used to have bleeding with less expensive micas. I would look at Stardust Micas, Nurture Soap, or Bramble Berry. It could also be the base, but I would start with the brand or type of colorant that you are using.
