Love the vid and the embed-filled soap! I am confused on one thing though: You said in order to prevent separation, you should add hash marks where the embeds are. What do the hash marks do that keeps the soap from separating?

My child made something like this with melt and pour, she choose a dolphin mold with blue, and poured clear melt and pour with sparkles, but the dolphins over time dissolve into the soap bar, what should we add to the dolphins to avoid this issue?

Why spray over n over n over with alcohol when the pieces are already soaked?

The alcohol breaks up the bubbles and helps the soap stick to the embeds.

Why do you mix the mica with alcohol then into the soap vs putting the mica in the soap then mixing?

Using a lot of alcohol possibly dry skin out .

I just love all of your creations. I purchased a kit from Michaels just to see if I could do this for fun...i couldn't keep the bars melted completely before it would harden again...before I could add color and fragrances...yours is always melted totally...even when I was mixing it up the spoons were getting hard ..

Plastic can be stubborn. Hobby lobby and even Walmart has silicone molds. If I use plastic, I pop it in the freezer and that helps. I have a few I use for face bars that I rub in some coconut oil to help get the soaps out easier.

I have an issue with the plastic molds too. Some people do really well with them. I would grab a 40% coupon and go to Micheal's or Hobby Lobby and get a small silicone mold for a few bucks to practice with. 🌺
