This song still affects me, every time I hear this song... This is crazy,....when I first heard this song, and there comes: "do you hear my voice"....tears just started falling... The whole Paragon album is my go to, when I need some mental pick-me-up. For years, I have convinced myself, that I am a tough guy, I was angry and bitter. I also convinced myself, that emotions are for the weak... and then came Floor Jansen, and all that facade came crashing down, and now I am a different person altogether, a better person 🥰.Floor's voice and music healed me. This song reminds me to hear myself and my inner voice. Daydreams are still a big part of my life, and so is Floor's music. NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘.

Floor is, IMO, one of the premier voices of this time. What always draws me to her is that her voice, whether in Nightwish, or solo, or in her earlier works, has a warmth, an inclusiveness. She draws us in, doesn't hold us at arms length. You kind of feel, and it's not the best comparison, that she could be your neighbor down the street who just happens to have a wonderful singing voice.

In an interview, Floor said she’s been doing Metal for so long that she wanted to do something different. So her Pop solo career has been born. Don’t worry. She also said that she’s never leaving Nightwish. 😄🤘

One of the biggest things I like about Floor's own music is hopeful and it tells a story this album is so badass all of it and it truly is all uplifting I really like the song paragon it is one of my favorites. I hope you listen to more of her solo music.

This song has been on my Floor Jansen playlist since the day it was released. The song MY Paragon is my favorite song from this album. I highly recommend her cover of Euphoria from the show Beste Zangers. I also recommend the official video for her song, While Love Died from her album Northward.

This song is part of Floor's solo album which os more Pop'ish. Funny fact i'm born 21st Feb like Floor just the year is different as i'm a 1974 boy. Since the Beste Zangers show ( The Best singers ) Floor started to play with what other Genre's she can do. During lockdown Floor done a few cover songs at her home studio including the frozen song let it go which Floor did for her daughter who's a frozen fan.

Jenna! Love your reactions! You are unique in what you pull from a video, beyond the music. Yes! Floor’s wardrobe is Always a great point to comment on! As you delve into more of her music, solo, NW, and past bands you will see her broad array of fashion choices. If you watch closely you will see her go from unblemished to a fair amount of ink….most of which is focused on her family and her desire for maintaining balance in her life. She talks about her body art in a couple of her interviews (which I encourage you to watch, so to get to know her beyond her singing and song writing. …and consider doing a reaction to one of her ‘Fan Fridays’ videos, which she shot during the lockdown. They provide great insight into who she is….which is a humble and eternally grateful and wonderful human being.)

This is Floor new solo career. Still in Nightwish, but doing something a little different. I think you may really like her new solo stuff. She sings about things she really cares about. It was a little bit about coming out of the lockdowns. Maybe check out "Fire", or 'Storm". or maybe even "Invincible". All very uplifting and hopeful. See you very soon lovely lady. I love Floor's solo work, though I love even more her live versions rather than her music videos if only for the reason they are more organic than what comes out of a studio. I purchased the special release of the album and none of it has live material so I don't know what I'm talking about apparently. She knows what to do with her instrument that's for sure. All of her solo projects, even material culled from Nightwish is different than what she does with them.

Hi Jenna, so you have heard a lot of Nightwish and the incredible Floor, now hear the other Titans of Symphonic Metal, they are called EPICA, a Dutch Symphonic Metal band formed in 2002, their lead singer Simone Simons is another incredibly talented performer, she is also great friends with Floor, be prepared to be blown away by Simone and EPICA, they are an amazing band, here is a live performance from earlier this year in Amsterdam: EPICA - Unleashed (Live At The AFAS Live)

Floor released the hard rock album Northward in 2018. Already then she said that she doesn't want to write symphonic metal anymore because she can't do it better than Tuomas. The next album would be something else. Her appearance on the Dutch TV show Beste Zengers brought her exposure outside of metal and enabled a successful tour performing pop versions of her bands' songs. The Amsterdam concert on their channel is from this tour. Towards the end of the pandemic, she then started with the current pop album and finished it during the tour with Nightwish. She has struggled with it for a long time because it's not her usual genre. Three minutes is too short for her.

Another band you should try out is Jinjer. They are a band from Ukraine and their lead singer Tetiana Shmailyuk who is also a Pisces. You should really hear her when she sings the song Pisces. It is a treat.

To perhaps expand your Metal experience slightly and guide to a group that is often thought provoking but connected to your current favourites, I would like to recommend the group Floor's husband drums for. Sabaton is a Swedish metal band that is devoted to history as their main focus. They even have a channel especially for the purpose of giving the background for their songs. Recently they released a new album and the first song is a cover or a Motorhead song called 1916 based on the Battle of the Somme which was a turning point for the way warfare has been carried out.
