I followed all of these steps, but my blade is loose and does not engage properly. I can't seem to figure out why, do you have any suggestions? Thanks for the video, I subscribed.

Your saw must be defective then return it

My bolt stripped when trying to replace the blade.. anyone got any ideas?

Return the saw or contact customer service

Were you trying to loosen or tighten the bolt. If trying to loosen, it is a reverse thread so you need to lock the spindle and turn the bolt clockwise to loosen.

@@nateroo I was trying to loosen it, but it came too tight from the factory. I ended up replacing it under warranty. which just involved taking it down to lowes and getting it off the shelf. I had to have proof of purchase as well. There were no problems with the replacement.

You say to lock it and you say just like right there, but you don't show where the locking mechanism actually is. I did not find this video very helpful as a woman.
