Hello, I have been watching your movie clips of making Pizza oven. I am very amature of DIY so it is very helpful for me and my team to build it in Japan. Unfortunately I have some issues about refractory cement and brick cutter... 1. Refractory cement: type of refractory cement in Japan is not sticky as I see in your movie clip. Do yoe use any specific refractory cement or blend it with other cememt? Would you advise the brand name of the cement so I try to find it in Japan. 2. Brick cutter: I really like this brick cutter (Kobalt) but again I can not find this type of cutter with the same price range. The one we find in Japan is more than USD 5000.00 range. I am looking for any shops to ship it to Japan with the reasonable shipping cost..... Cutting bricks is hard.... But again your videos are extremely helpful and I thank you very much for uploading them. I wish I would invite you here to teach us in Japan.

There is a link in the part 5 video description for the refractory mortar that I used. Heat stop is another brand that is available on Amazon here in the United States. The saw was purchased at lowes. I don’t think you will find the same one in your country., but you should be able to find something comparable

I have the 7inch saw, think the blade is big enough for cutting bricks same size ? Thanks

You will only be able to make cuts when brick is lying flat. If you turn brick sideways you will run into trouble

Thanks ! I bought the 7inch kobalt sliding table wetsaw used( perfect condition) man had it set up and I tried one of my bricks, had to flip brick to finish the cut but it cut like butter ( dry). I think this will get it done. I m going to put the pump in a bucket like you did, so the water stays clean while running.

Could you attach a wood plank to hold the discharge bucket??? Seems lots of contractors do that in our area. Got the wheels ordered for my Artisian Made assembly table yesterday... the manufacture hasn't had them since we last talked

The wood plank might work. I might try that. Supply lines have been so disrupted because of Covid.

You can put your water supply on one side and discharge on the other side and that should fix the 3 inches you need for the water pump, as far as the slide table issue can you remove the roller and and position it further down offset the rollers to get a clean cut? May involve drilling 2 new holes for the roller to sit in? Thats my 2 cents of tooling advice

You’re right. A platform big enough for two pails

Anyone experience water leaking from tray while cutting
@ArtisanMade2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t but I also don’t use it frequently

The pump isnt supposed to be in a bucket, its supposed to be in the water catch tray
@ArtisanMade2 жыл бұрын
It’s always better for the pump to run clean water through it. It will last longer. The user manual also suggests using this method.
