The biggest oddity in the whole case is the dad committing suicide. Why would a dad commit suicide because the daughter was missing and he's out looking for her? Or did he feel guilt for some reason about her leaving? There's more to the story about him and his daughter's relationship I believe.

I see comments like this, and the answer seems so obvious to me. Two weeks feels like an eternity when every second feels like hell. Consider it acute, episodic mental illness.

Why are people looking for her if she doesn’t want to be found what a waste of our tax dollars
@MystLily7 күн бұрын
She panicked her family by sending the weird texts and saying she was being hacked, then deliberately went silent on them. It’s horrible to do that just because you want to change your life.

A woman goes missing in Los Angeles, and her father travels there in search of her, only to tragically pass away. This story has captured national attention, yet it raises a troubling question: does she know about her father's death, and if so, why does it seem like she doesn't care?
@lucien49807 күн бұрын
At this point she just went off to get away, even crossing the Mexico border. She cant even call one person to say she is ok, and u all keep playing this all over the news, wasting so many hours. Why? Find some of these missing kids man wtf.

She left she's not missing then. Right? Something seems very suspicious

She chose to go missing. Are they downgrading the search importance or is it because she'll be an easy find compared to other missing people? How do they know she doesn't have her phone? Or has all her money taken? She is voluntarily missing. She may have disabled the phone and removed the SIM card so she can't be tracked then off she goes.

Her so-called spiritual enlightenment caused her to SUDDENLY drop everything including family, finances and career. Find these spiritual cult group and you will find her. Hopefully she is not locked away somewhere in South America and still has her freedom. Family has to right to look for her to make sure she is safe and free. Hannah also needs to know she is loved and can come back to the States if she has changed her mind or needs support.

If she wanted to go off grid she shoulda just told her family that in the first place instead of sending weird cryptic messages. The reason they’re looking for her is because she made it sound like she was in danger.
@bbloodyangel17 күн бұрын
Why did she claim her funds were stolen and all that if she just wanted to disappear in peace? That was either very stupid or she's mentally unwell and thus she's not safe.
@lulu624z7 күн бұрын
Or she was fishing and trying to get her family to feel sympathy and send her more money

I left my abusive family in 1986. I thank God every day that I got free. Nobody begging me to go back. I think the only thing wrong is that people will not leave her alone. I think there is a reason he killed himself and the reason she left are involved.

She's ok, just let it go. There are plenty of other people missing. Stop giving her publicity!

she should have just told her family she was fine and she was leaving and that this was goodbye. It’s cruel that she said someone scammed her and she was stuck.

Her family doesn't seem to have healthy boundaries so I can see why she felt her only option to get away from them was to disappear.

There was no indication of previous mental illness. She is an adult who has chosen to leave her family.
@emeraldkind3 күн бұрын
Every person commenting on how selfish she is or wrong for doing this are just plain fools. She is a grown woman and IF she was in a mentally of physically abusive family she knew better than tell any of them she was leaving knowing they would try to stop her. EVERYBODY needs to just drop this and move on with their own lives. LEAVE HER BE!

San Ysidro is the busiest border crossing in the US. Almost 100,000 people cross daily. Why do people think crossing the border is some dangerous, clandestine activity? She's a grown woman who is making her own decisions and, for whatever reason, she is wandering a bit and seems unsettled. Stop with the conspiracies and nonsense!

The father was afraid that she would expose him. Your daughter doesn't just leave and you don't kill yourself unless you are hiding something.
