And it's interesting to see what used to be there back then that is no longer here in Kobe today ! :) Arigatoh so much for uploading those precious photos ! :D

Thank you for making and posting these videos. I was the youngest in my family born in Kobe in 1962 and went to Marist Brothers in 1966 at the age of 4 (Kindergarden with Mrs. Bruggeman). My sisters went to Stella Maris. I was there till 1973 (5th grade). I have so many memories of my time there going to school from Sannomiya Station to Suma by train.

I was at Marist Bros 63-65, a little English boy Peter. My Father worked for famous UK company ICI. I remember sailing on the inland sea, the lovely Mrs Bruggeman, Mount Rokko and Morozov's chocolates! We lived beneath the mountains, very exciting!

I was born in Kobe in 1948. My family went to Sannomiya to eat or to shop. I remembered that a moving amusement facilities were held in the ground which had been occupied by the US army. It was around in the early 1950s.
Hi . My name is sammy moche and my father built the Moche Bldg after the war and my sisters all went to stella maris and the boys all went to marist brothers.. I spent lots of time in my fathers office on the top floor and it was a surprise to see the building at that angle. thank you

@heypatio Thanks! It is always great to read appreciation of my father's films and photos. I think my time in Japan was very important for me in learning to think and feel internationally.

I was between six and eleven years old. I do remember quite a lot from that period in my life. Where did you spend those ages in your life?

I have probably seen both you and your sisters. I spent three years at Marist Brothers and one year at Stella Maris. Juliana was in my class at Stella Maris.
