I have both and in my opinion the 8s just don’t have enough impact protection for me and they make my feet and knees hurt. The 8s outsole also wears pretty quick. The 6s feel more comfortable and bouncy on foot and don’t leave my body in pain after. The 6s are also just better looking in my opinion.

I like that this curved outrigger on the 8s flattens after a while. I didn't like that at all, so I wanted to sell my 8s again. But you mentioned in one of your videos that this will happen, so I broke it in and you were right! So thanks for this advice 😇 Btw: I would love to see this kind of comparison video with the 4s (and maybe 5s) 😃

I would lean more towards the Kobe 6s just because the cushion in them feels better for me the 8s cushion is nice but after a long hoop sesh my knees are feeling it. And would give the 6s an edge on traction as well.

I had the original kobe 8 christmas way back 2013. Got the camouflage 6’s. I’d say the 6’s are protro done right

I accidentally left my kobe 8 insole outside in the sun cause I cleaned rhem and I pull them out to dry. Omg huge mistake. I should hav ejust use tissue or towel to wipe them. The insol shrunk and changed size 😅😅😅😅 so I had to sell them. I got them for retail too. I am so 😭😭😭

Hoping you pickup some Kobe 5 protros someday. Curious to see if you go back to tts in the 5s. I’m a half size up in the 6s like most say. The 5s are back and forth with most on sizing. But like you said the SPOs are still the better value for performance. Thx! I wish I could still get those SPO player1 Haters in an 11

I think i have to respectfully disagree about the player 1 plus being better than the Kobe 6. The player 1 plus rides so low to the ground while the Kobe 6 still has some reasonable cushion (at least for me) And you can boost the cushion in the 6s with a Move insole. Keep up the good work with the videos

@@kelvin108 have you tried the explosive drop in midsole? That’s the difference maker. It’s also better because it’s available and not reselling for absurd prices. I still think it has better performance

Why is this even a debate?? 😆🤭 The 6's are perfect. I think people just want to like something different from the 6's, so they can feel like they stand apart from other hoopers, which is OK. But I'm beginning to think that the term 'court feel' has transformed into a form of cope language to justify a sneaker having little to no comfort or impact protection, but just happens to look nice. Just my opinion. 💺🥸📰
