Hi Kobe Bryant was one of my most favorite NBA Super Star. Watching interviews of him inspired and motivated me to see the real inner beauty of myself. Kobe listen to my bible teaching airwave and he took time out of his busy schedule to study the bible. I can certainly say that he received Christ as his personal saviour . Kobe was a lovely and humble person. Everyone who knows him wanted to be drawn to him. He was my personal mentor and advisor. When am going through situations that I don't fully understand I can always call on him and when he gets through counselling me am blessed. He was a mentor to my two sons and they loved him. He taught them the game and beauty of basketball. He was me and my kids best friend. He teachers a person how to work and be the best that they can be in their work field. To his wife and kids I must say that y'all had a great and wonderful husband and dad. Vanessa I will not hide this from you. I admire your late husband strength and beauty as a great roll model. The bible says to speak the truth. I always pray to God to bless me and my 2 sons with a husband and father exactly like Kobe .To me I can't accept the feeling like he has passed. I still think of him and his daughter and the others like they are alive. To Gigi she is a beautiful girl I saw the pictures of how she cling to her family especially hee dad. I know that you and her sisters will miss her and their dad very much. Kobe and Gigi and the others. To me you will always be alive. My sympathy goes out to Kobes parents and siblings and the rest of his family especially the kids that he loved so much. Your love and dream also Gigi love will stay alive in my heart. With love from sweet P.

Kobe meant everything to me as a kid...They made my childhood so when Kobe died a piece of my childhood died. And it's not just nostalgia of my childhood. The reason it broke me down so bad is because I watched him as an adult as much as I did as a child. Not only old games but I watched every interview. My heart is still broken til this day

GraceCaroline Walker and what I most enjoyed about Stephen A’s interviewing techniques/talent was he endorses the interviewee to expound on a response. There’s no close-end answers, he wants open-end questions i.e, it was great, or it was amazing. Stephen A challenges the responder to be explicit in explaining what is meant by great, amazing.

@@awillis244 i just relooked at the interview.. the whole interview and besides the tears just flowing all over again, I am struck by the definition that Kobe himself created Granity - Greatness to Infinity. why do i keep crying so much. I cant even begin to imagine Vanessa, his daughter and the little babies, his mother, father and sisters.. grief moments daily. I honestly feel what the toll of grief does .. and the depression begin to seep in, and I am just an outsider looking on

It’s crazy how time flies. It really feels like seven or eight years ago that Kobe had came into the league in that Shaq had come to the Lakers. I remember Michael Jordan retiring and then the Lakers dominating for three years in a row. Feels like this era, the mid to thousands was just A few years ago and it really feels like that second great Lakers run with Kobe and Pau was just two years ago. When I started watching basketball Michael Jordan was already the man so I came into basketball with him established already. I can’t believe that Kobe‘s 20 year career came and went so fast. He is only a year older than me And I remember not knowing anything about him and just being excited that Shaquille O’Neal was on our team finally. However it didn’t take long at all for Kobe to show everyone that he was just as important to this team as Shaq . And I remember my best friend in the world taking me to a sports bar in downtown Raleigh so we could watch Kobe‘s last game as a Laker when he dropped 60 points. I will always consider myself in the other Laker fans of these 2000s some of the greatest sports fans of all time because we got to witness Kobe. Thank you so much for everything you gave us in all the hard work that you put in. There will never be a Nother Kobe Bryant and we will never forget you. Rest in peace to the great Kobe Bryant.

The Most important thing I ever heard Kobe Bryant say and I totally agree with him. When he was asked when did he realized he was going basically through this rough point in his life and how he handled it. Kobe Bryant said GOD is Great! It’s just that Simple! He said when you realize that He not only carry your Cross But when He carry you and your Cross. That’s the most Powerful Truth that Kobe Bryant could have learned. When he realized that Jesus Christ doesn’t just carry our Cross, He carry us too. Sometimes we all Pray and give our problems we can’t handle to GOD but at the same time we think we can handle other things ourselves. But NO, we need Jesus to take it all, I believe that’s how Kobe had the Strength to play through all The Physical Suffering he played through, because he knew The Power his Strength came from. He was my Greatest Player because He learned to Surrender it All to Jesus, the Son, of GOD. Keep His Legacy Alive 🥰🥰Cora Williams, Birmingham, Al

Kobe Wanted his legacy to be about inspiring people to inspire other people to be the best version of themselves - that was the mamba mentality - so the best thing you can do to honor him in the aftermath of this unbearable tragedy is to find something that you’re passionate about and work as hard as you can so be great at it! And then do your best to be the inspiration for someone else. According to Kibe, this became his most important legacy, bc it would truly live on forever. That 6th ring became nothing more than jewelry once he realized that he had the power to change people’s lives OFF the court. His passion, dedication and work ethic that he exhibited in basketball was his way of life in everything. He was more than just the greatest b-ball player ever- he was the an even better human being! Let him live on in all of us! Let him be the inspiration you need to reach greatness and then pay it forward! Don’t let his death bring you down - let it lift u to your greatest version of yourself!!

Kobe is a great speaker, he doesn't let questions that ask, rattle his cave. He is extremely poise and he knows how to answer every question, straight forward, eyes directly on SAS. I love how he talked about God, that lets me know and everyone else that his FAITH IN GOD IS VERY STRONG and he knows there is nothing that GOD WILL NOT DO FOR HIM. IT'S LIKE KOBE AND JESUS HAVE THEIR OWN THING GOING. I love it and I'm happy for him. Thank you Kobe for silenting the NAY SAYERS. They need to play this interview, again and again, man it is awesome. Thank you again, MaxaMillion711for sharing, thank you. RIP Kobe, we love you always. Just a angel who lived for God and his will. Your purpose was fulfilled in this life, enjoy eternity with your lord kobe and gigi. Your works on earth will be forever remembered.

Kobe is humble and he always was focused, but now it seems that he is more alert and attentive. Kobe was always about winning and bettering himself but he was also did more to inspire the players that he played with and all those on the other team. Kobe inspired all of us by the way he played the game. He should have gotten more MVP awards than he did, I felt like they short changed or shall I say cheaped him. Kobe never let anything that was said about him worry him, he is the prefect example for all of us to follow, Thanks MaxaMllion711 for sharing with us. Thank you Stephen A. Smith for this frank interview with the Legendary Visionary Kobe. Thank you for the no excuse conversation with Kobe, he does not apology for being the amazing player he was, and after retirement business man. I'm happy that he got the chance to spend as much time with his family as he possibly could before retirement and afterward. Enjoy the interview, Kobe is Kobe an amazing father, husband and basketball player. It's great that he has as many interview as he could make and the memories from them is awesome. Kobe always gives great advice and he inspires you to go to the next level in life as he would when playing the game of basketball. Kobe is the GREAEST. Please stop blaming him for Shaq leaving the Lakers, it was time. With Shaq there Kobe never would have been as great as he is, Shaq had to go in order for Kobe to grow into the man, person, and professional player that he is. Indeed he is the GOAT, at a young age. Interview was informative, Stephen A. can do everyone a favor and stop being so PREACHE. He needs to respect Kobe enough to know that was not Kobe's fault because Shaq is no longer a Laker player, that was Shaq decision. So, stop blaming Kobe. Shaq is not a child and he will speak on it whenever he decide too. So, leave Kobe alone and stop. It hurts bad enough with Kobe not being here. RIP Kobe and Gigi.

On point brother! I came acrossed on your comment at this moment. Damn I really miss my favorite player, Kobe Bean. Rest in peace Black Mamba! And just to add up, recently, Shaq revealed that he left Lakers in '04 because he only wanted a bigger paycheck. But that time, Laker management leaned on signing Kobe on a greater deal and Shaq found a great deal in Miami Heat. Great paycheck as well. And Shaq said that maybe that was the time that Kobe should be the Alpha and Leader of the Laker squad moving forward.

Kobe needed to be the leader, Shaq was playing on the level that Kobe was. Shaq used to be but he had gained a lot of weight and did not have the speed that Kobe had. So, he had to get out the way or get run over. That situation humbled Kobe, he was more focused on his craft, and Kobe had to do make some hard decisions about his game and how he was going to lead the Lakers once Shaq had left. Kobe went on to become the greatest player of all time. Kobe is a Legend and nobody can take that away from him. Whatever happened on the court was left on the floor, and everyone went home. At the end of the day, Kobe will always be Kobe, no matter what and he's the type of person who does not allow gossip to get in the way of winning another championship. It was all about winning to Kobe. R.I.P. Kobe and Gigi.
