• From 2008-2010, Kobe and the Lakers faced 11 50+ Win teams out of a possible 12 (the exception was the 48 win Utah Jazz). •Kobe had more 30-point playoff games during his 2009 run than anyone since Jordan and his 2010 run is tied for second since Jordan. • Kobe Bryant is the only Finals MVP in 50 years to score 32 points while dishing out at least 7 assists. • His 1999 points during the Lakers 08-10 run is still the most ever by a player in three consecutive postseasons. • Despite his poor shooting, Kobe Bryant led the 2010 NBA Finals series in steals and defensive rating. • Bryant also out-rebounded every player in the series (including the Celtics), except for a 7-foot Pau Gasol. • Bryant’s 15 boards in Game 7 is the most rebounds in a Finals games by a shooting guard. • The Mamba did not shoot well for 3 games in the 2010 Finals and most of the 1st Round against the Thunder, however from Game 6 of the 1st Round to Game 1 of the 2010 NBA Finals, Kobe averaged 32.7 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 6.8 apg on 51/42/86 shooting splits. • In those 12 games, Bryant scored at least 30 points in 11. • 2009 West Finals + NBA Finals: 33.3 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 6.5 apg, 45/35/90 • 2010 West Finals + NBA Finals: 30.9 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 5.9 apg, 46/37/88 • Kobe Bryant was more efficient shooting wise in his 2008-2010 playoff run than Michael Jordan was during his 1996-1998 three-peat. 2008-10 Kobe was incredible. Oh yeah, he also did it with a bum knee and a messed up finger...on his shooting hand.

We speak about how great you are, how smart you are, and how meaningful you have become in the Los Angeles Lakers organization, but to Los Angeles itself. You stayed 20 full years in the NBA with one team. You have every ones respect and love for many years to come. Boy or girl, you sparked an intense fire and gave us another reason why we should be out on the court in the blistering hot weather, in a dry dry afternoon, in a snowy drive way, a father and mother playing basketball with your jersey and your shoes. We all heard it best from Michael Jordan, that there is no comparison from Kobe to any other player in the modern NBA. Called him a little brother to show his support. Where else have you seen Michael Jordan cry for someone else in public? Clearly, Kobe impacted all types of life. A relative of sorts is the best way to think of you Kobe Bryant. You will never be forgotten. Ever. I am sorry for your loss, but I don' want to selfish; thank you for the memories. Memories that connected my father to have starter conversation and ask about how we are feeling in life right after talking about you.

Just to be able to see the joy in Kobe’s face as he started to jump up and down and celebrate winning his 4th did nothing but put a smile on my face as if He was one of my homies...even though I watched this game live it has a different meaning now that I’m older and got a chance to watch it again, Thank you kobe 🖤🐍

Kobe has to go a lot of hardwork just to win the championship. I mean he wins it all despite having a non-super team. He was the biggest threat to every team back then that's why you can see him get double defenders, triple defenders or even quadruple defenders. Imagine the 2009 lakers without Kobe, they wouldn't even go to the playoffs because of the legacies and super teams built back then. This is why I believe that Kobe can't be compared to any of the NBA players today. He doesn't have a player like Ray Allen to shoot a crucial three pointer against the spurs, he doesn't have Klay Thompson and Andre Igoudala to help the team to win games, he only had a decent teammate/s in which because of his leadership in basketball lead that team to victory. The leadership and the great plays of a player could be contagious creating a momentum for the team. That is what Kobe has to do since he is the only player to step-up to the challenge of beating every team in the NBA.

This was the only finals games I've ever been to and I was so lucky that Orlando made it this year lol. I can only thank god that I got to see Kobe at the height of his skills. It's truly devastating that he won't be around to teach and guide the next generation of basketball players and its truly a collective loss of greatness.
