The blazers were up 16 in the 4th in that game 7, and Kobe was the Laker player who came down and hit tough shot after tough shot, then started hitting open guys and closing the gap, until Kobe finally hit the shot to take the lead on pippen, before closing it by crossing pippen and lobbing it to Shaq. This is why Kobe is better than LeBron, how many times have we seen LeBron fold when his team is down? If you study the Chicago Bulls championship run they got all of the benefit of the doubt on most of the calls especially MJ every game because the NBA was marketing them to always win for their brand in the 1990's.
