My favorite version of Kobe (05-07) still had the energy and youth but he also put on some muscle and mastered his moves with elite training as well as matured. He could’ve won a couple more rings if he had a better supporting cast during this version

This is what we needed. Aint too many 2005 highlights on KZbin. Nobody focuses on 2005. If it wasn’t for injuries i think this lakers squad makes 8th.

I agree.I think they were 6th in the West when Kobe got hurt and then Coach Rudy T quit. Then Odom got hurt and that was pretty much the end for that season

It’s because the Lakers weren’t shit that year and everyone was tired of them anyway. They were in 4 or 5 of the last 6 finals they’re the Yankees of basketball, forced into the finals by the refs even when they lost the series.. And the fact that he had way better seasons in 06, 03, etc. everybody watches those seasons a lot more where he was completely killin it.

His first step during this time is so deadly. It's like the guy has at least 50 moves in his arsenal at any given time.

Call Steve Nash and have him FedEx that 2005&2006 MVP trophies to the Kobe Bryant estate ASAP...smh Kobe only lost out on those due to the 2004 "rape case" allegations and not for basketball related reasons as he was clearly torching the league.

Lmfao. Yeah you’re an idiot kid. “Never seen anything like it”…. Because you’ve VERY clearly never seen anything from before 2004 apparently. MJ circa 1991, 1992, 1993, 1990, 1988, just watch his highlights from any of those seasons. 1991, 1990, and 1988 especially. The dude was untouchable by anyone.

He came outta high school when he was 17. This was his 9th year in the league. And what do you mean “just 26”, that’s the peak of anybody’s prime to begin with. 26-29 is everyone’s peak.
