not sure if I know any other athlete as determined and as motivated as the Mamba. Kobe inspired me at a young age, even though I had my trials and still am going through the obstacles life gives us, that no matter how hard life is and no matter how difficult the world may seem, you can NEVER settle for anything. Fight for your life, fight for your health, and fight for the sake of you. Your abilities and potential alone supersedes negativity and the things around you. Only you can lift yourself up. This is truly remarkable. In a 7 year span, he went from 0 points to the NBA and One of the geratest to ever do it. I am impressed and Kobe motivated me to play basketball. I am truly humble and blessed to have seen his entire career, but what motivates me even more is not necessarily his basketball ethic, his words of motivation. I wrote a paper in my English 101 class on Kobe and got the only A of my life. I was ready to give up on my journey and just happened to see this at 3:40 in the morning and reminded me not to quit.
