The morning my little brother died unexpectedly 8 years ago, my father said later that day, "When God goes to his garden to pick a flower, he only picks the best and most beautiful flower & that's what he did this morning, he picked the best & took him home with him!" I never thought about it that way, but I do now that I'm not so angry that my brother was taken way before his time. I still grieve every day & I will for the rest of my life, but I know he's in a Beautiful Place with all of the Wonderful, Beautiful People that have Passed on before us & I'll be with him again one day 🤍🌈✨

@@kellzz thanks and its so true. Everyone is so concerned about looking vulnerable to the point where they escape the reality of things. Sorry to hear about your brother's passing. That's definitely tough to deal with. Our past is meant to mold and shape us in a sense, reminding us that life is temporary and to live every day like its our last. If we can honestly live our lives with this mentality, it would definitely help us heal within even with the worst tragedies.

It's hard to even type this post, I'm definitely glad you have brought some light to the greatness that Gianna as yet to live. She was definitely on her way to not only earning, but living up to her namesake MambaCita. Growing up In Philly gives me a sense of some kind of connection to Kobe, having seeing him play a couple of time. Before anyone new who Kobe was, hell me not knowing who Kobe was, and going to be. This one really hurt, it stung bad. Now as a parent and having lost my daughter, this hit me in a different type of way. Although not in a tragic way as Gianna, I know what it feels like to lose a child, there's NO pain that I know of that can come close to what I felt, and still feel to this day. My kids are suppose to bury me, not the other way around. This is why this hit different, and something that I can't seem to shake early in this tragedy . To lose a husband, and child at the same time...… Vanessa life if forever changed, I don't care how much time goes by. So thank you for doing, and sharing this video Brah. I've always been a big supporter of women's basketball. From ( Summits) Lady Vols and Ga battles back in the day, From Old Diminon , to Uconns battles. Be able to see my top 2 plyers in action …. Dawn Staley ( Philly), and Sheryl Swoops. being a season ticket holder from day one in Houston for my beloved Comets, being apart of the first 4 championships of the WNBA. So yes I feel robbed not being able to see the HAVOC Gianna was going to bring to the league once she entered it. We now can only speculate about what could have been, and yes.
