Eh, Jordan and Lebron's efficiency ratings are much higher than kobe's. Even steph curry's efficiency rating is higher. still a top 10 player nonetheless
@datboimazz Жыл бұрын
@@nikobellic1762You have to put those numbers in context. Kobe played in the toughest defensive era in basketball.’ It was slowest paced and had the lowest points per game. If you compare his efficiency to other players in that era especially at his position it’s much better than you think. Also efficiency doesn’t mean better by that logic Kyrie would be better than Kobe too.

This was the final year of the kobe Bryant we all know and love. It's almost fitting that it ended with that injury, after carrying a team that was many games back and in complete disarray into the Playoffs. He literally left it all on the court to get them there. Delivering one of his best statistical years to do so.

What a two months he had that '13 spring....MVP caliber...shit, we literally can't process what happened. Used to watch Kob videos quite everyday, to not mention I followed his entire career starting to play BB when he was a rookie, have magazines, 8&24 jerseys, Lakers shorts, drawings and portraits of him...I made so many nights asleep for him and my Lakers...I knew a lot of people having this common passion, many became my friends...how many times we talked about him...I studied for exams during playoffs series...had girls to whom I talked a lot about Kob...today I still play BB in some playground and many of my body and feet feints are copy-cut of him...literally a part me gone...

Man, I LOVED watching Kobe during this season. He was getting up there in age, so all of the critics were wondering doubting what he was able to do on the court. At the same time this was his most impressive season statistically! He was AWESOME. If that Achilles tear hadn't of taken place, this would've been another MVP season for Bean. He was absolutely possessed. My favorite memory of this season was the comeback 3 pointers and game winners against Toronto. That was so hype!
@Dying4pie21802 жыл бұрын
Didn't he also have a torn ligament in his shooting wrist when he did that to Toronto? Also was like 5 straight 40+ games in that moment as well? He was on another level that season. Really wish we got to see him compete in the playoffs that year. That injury kept us from witnessing something incredible 😔

As a Jordan fan, I remember watching all these games live like it was yesterday. It only lasted 2 months but it was the greatest individual stretch of pure will to win I have ever seen in my life, any sport. Only thing that could stop him was literally himself and the guy that intentionally twisted his ankle - which I think led to the tear whether they admit it or not. And he still made the free throws. I'm confident they would've won a chip that year and he would've had 6 like Jordan.

To be that far down, to have the odds against you, to have to play at such a high level consistently so many games, to be behind in so many games and come through in the clutch. I am so proud of him I still think about him every day Because he really touched me the type of player he is. I use those traits in my own personal life. Yeah I enjoy all the plays and all the highlights from this video but the reason I like this video it’s because the story behind it. Why did Kobe Bryant at the age of 34 in his 17th year play his heart out? Because Jerry buss died and they were telling him he’s old and washed up. instead of pouting about it he went out there and did something and that’s why I love this guy. That’s why anytime anything happens to a loved one or whatever the reason maybe I think about Kobe and what he would do when he would go out there and work his ass off and prove a point not only to himself but to everyone else! Thank you Kobe Bryant for all that you’ve done it’s meant a lot to me.

Kobe is the second-best player in NBA history...the Kobe top 5 talk is horse shit....after the Shaq trade to Miami, the Lakers were in rebuild mode, it took Kobe 3 years to get back to the finals (2006-2008). ..put that in perspective, the heat, are still in rebuild mode 6 years after their last finals appearance, the Cavs will be back in the finals when Jesus comes back, the Knicks have been in rebuild mode since 2007, the Celtics haven't made the finals since 2008, and Kobe did it in 3 seasons removed from a total gutting of the team, 3 seasons, not to mention that the first of 3 consecutive appearances in the finals, again...immediately following a total team rebuild....... Now let's talk about Lebron... here's a guy who has never had to rebuild after any finals loss, if he doesn't win, he leaves and avoids a rebuild, more importantly, he will only move to a team with at least 2 other all-stars. Additionally, he's been to the finals more times than Kobe and Jordan and has lost more than them, he has lost 3 times the finals Kobe has lost, and he has lost as many finals as Jordan has won....statistically he will surpass both, but he is no way near the player they were and is not top 10 in NBA history...we need to stop rewarding losing...Lebron is like Wilt really dominant, could't win. MJ is 1, Kobe is 1A/2. And that's all there is to it.

Yeah, LeBron is sewage compared to Kobe, the media overrates everything Lebron does. Lebron couldn't even carry the Lakers to the playoffs, with a better team than Kobe had in 2013. He was more interested in organizing the unceremonious trades of players who refused to play the "Lebron system"...as opposed to focusing on leading that young talented team to the playoffs...Lebron and his sycophants infuriate and disgust me.
