99 was the beginning, 2000 was when he became the most improved player in the league, and 2001 was when he finally turned the corner and just elevated his game to another level. After 2003, his game was complete and was just a matter of fine tuning and tweaking.

Sprewell my guy never the elite talent but he competes, no back down in his game even with Afro Kobe testing his super powers. Afro Kobe with long left right cross two steps at rim was scary, I wish Kobe met Spreee when he first got in league and Spree was quicker but only MJ, Kobe, Penny, GHill, Tmac and VC only guys really gave Spree issues like everybody else but Spree always competed, hitting shots. Kobe ability go by a guy like Spree shows how explosive he was.

Lmao, lol, oh brother! You sound ridiculous. In 1999 there were 2 players averaging 24+ppg or more. In 2022 there are 19 players averaging 24+ppg or more. In '99 pace of play was 88.9 possessions per game. The pace of play in '22 is 98.2 possessions per game. Scoring 25 points in '99 was like Scoring 30pts today.
