I didn't grow up in the 80s so I didn't get the chance to see magic and bird go head to head but im so glad I got to see this laker team and Celtic teams go head to head. For everyone who don't remember we could've had a Celtics vs lakers finals for 3 straight years if KG didn't go down in the playoffs in 09.

Kobe and Pau beat 4 all stars with a stacked role playing bench… One of the hardest championships ever. Kobe had to learn to trust his teammates and we won 2009-2010. Kobe also grew Pau into the player he became, Even the Celtics said it. Kobe made Pau toughen up. Watching this finals I was scared for Kobe he was getting doubled the whole series getting trapped off pick and rolls. But he made the passes and believed in his teammates. You need ur team to win it all can’t do it alone. Once Kobe figured that out he won 2 straight without any superstars on his team. HE MADE PAU A ALL STAR by the way

Those were the best words, best game, between the Celtics, and the Lakers. I'm so happy for Kobe and the Lakers to have won this game and all the games they won. This is by far the best game ever, Kobe best player ever and Lakers, best team ever. I love this game, thanks NBA for allowing this game to be posted, thank you and please keep posting the games that Kobe played in with the Lakers. We're still quarantined and watching these games of the Lakers with Kobe just lift our spirits and help us to get through this by the grace of God we will the same as Kobe and the Lakers won their championship. We all love to see Kobe work his magic and win the game. We're dreaming right now but we wish he could be here, with his family/with all of us his fans, young fans, and old fans. Nobody can do it like Kobe, nobody can make it happen but Kobe. Love you man. Thanks, Queen Vanessa for being Kobe true love and his Queen forever, thank you. To his little Princesses, thank you for sharing your dad with all of us, thank you and thank you God for blessing Kobe and the Lakers to be the winner. God, we need this right now, and thank you Lord for answering our prayer. Thank you for being God and for being there with Kobe and the Lakers, also thank you for the Celtics.

@Minimal Interest I said close, and he was close. While I still think Kobe deserved the MVP (he was awesome in almost every aspect) but he didn't shot well in that series, and in the crucial Game 7 Pau was the MVP without question.

@@Kwijiboz Dude Kobe had 15 rebounds in game 7 as a guard. Not only that nobody shot well in game 7 if you actually watched that game. It was all defense. Kobe had a broken finger on his shooting hand and an ankle injury so bad he needed injections just to walk.

The other 2 finals you described sucked nothing can beat the level of physicality the lakers vs celtics had. The mountain kobe had to climb where he only had gasol beating really a 5 headed dragon with a defensive mestermind tony allen and on top of that kobe playing injured specially a broken finger in his shooting hand it's not even close.

ohhh yeahhh I see your point as 2013 and 2016 were not competitive in every game (except for Games 6 and 7 in 2013 & Game 7 in 2016) like 2010, but I also forgot to add 2011 as that was a great Finals as well. I put 2013 and 2016 because of the iconic moments and historic significance.

@@blovett0814 I respect your views but go back and watch 2016 finals in slow motion. That finals was so rigged. I couldn't believe how the refs handed the games to the Cavs...

@@LeBronJames-StatPadderMan I know that many people feel this way but consider this: Draymond Green was getting multiple technicals during the playoffs (i.e. kicking Steven Adams in the nuts) and should have been suspended before the Finals & Andrew Bogut got hurt so the Warriors lost some defense in the paint and shot blocking. I respect your opinion and I believe that if Green doesn't get suspended and Bogut isn't hurt, the Warriors win in 5. Just saying and LeBron led both teams in points, assists, rebounds, blocks, and steals as he was on a mission.
